The fair
Le Salon du Livre de Genève gathers Swiss French-language publishers, French houses with a Swiss presence, and a public programme. It is smaller than Paris and therefore easier to work as a visiting author. From 2027 the dates move into late February.
Advice for visiting authors
- Swiss publishing is small and relationship-driven. A good conversation here can travel.
- English-language authors should be clear whether they seek translation, or a Swiss distributor for an English edition.
