The Feria Internacional del Libro de Buenos Aires is a city-scale cultural event. Argentine publishing has a distinctive literary culture and a difficult economy — houses here are selective and proud. Visit to understand the River Plate market; pitch only where you have done the reading.

- Argentine editors are literary. Show that you know their list.
- For pan-Spanish rights, FIL Guadalajara may still be the more efficient professional room.
