Svět knihy Praha is the professional and public showcase for Czech publishing and a useful door into Central Europe. Czechia is Guest of Honour at Frankfurt in 2026, so the Prague fair is a smart place to see that market on home ground.
Advice for visiting authors
- Translation funding in Czechia and neighbouring countries is real — ask publishers which grants they use.
- English-language authors: you are selling translation rights, not an English print run.
